Terms of Service

Magister Marketing
Effective date: July 13, 2026 · Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Service Description

Magister Marketing ("Magister," "we," "us," or "our") is an autonomous AI marketing platform. Free and Connect experiences run without a dedicated Magister-hosted machine. The Agent plan includes an isolated, dedicated cloud machine. Depending on your plan and the features you enable, Magister can manage marketing workflows, browse the web, draft or send communications, and connect to third-party services on your behalf.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Magister. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at team@magistermarketing.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription & Billing

Magister offers a free trial and paid Connect and Agent plans. Current prices, included credits, available billing intervals, and add-on or overage charges are listed on our Pricing page and confirmed at checkout. All payments are processed through Stripe. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the monthly or annual billing interval selected at checkout until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.

Each plan includes a credit allowance for eligible AI and automation usage. Usage beyond a paid plan's included credits may incur the overage rate disclosed on the Pricing page and at checkout. We may throttle or pause activity when a payment fails, a safety limit is reached, or the free trial allowance is exhausted.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

4. AI-Generated Content

Your Magister agent generates content using large language models (LLMs). AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, errors, or hallucinations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all content before it is published, sent, or acted upon.

Emails composed by your agent require your explicit approval before they are sent. You acknowledge that you are the sender of record for any email dispatched through the Service and accept full responsibility for its content.

Magister does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service allows you to connect third-party platforms including GitHub, Vercel, Webflow, Wix, WordPress, PostHog, DataforSEO, and Slack. When you connect a third-party service, you grant Magister permission to act on your behalf through that service within the scope of access you authorize.

You are responsible for understanding and managing the scope of access you grant to each integration. You may revoke access at any time through your account settings or the third-party platform.

Magister is not liable for any actions your agent takes on connected third-party services, including but not limited to code commits, deployments, content modifications, or data changes. Use of third-party integrations is also subject to those services' own terms.

6. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

You may optionally provide your own API keys for LLM providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) and other supported services. When you provide a key, we encrypt and store it server-side and use it to make API calls on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for any charges incurred on your own API keys through your use of the Service. Magister is not liable for costs, rate limits, or account actions imposed by third-party providers as a result of usage through your agent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or abusive communications via email or any connected integration
  • Attempt to extract, exfiltrate, or reverse-engineer API keys, credentials, or internal system configurations
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or budget caps
  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or defraud others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' agents
  • Use the Service to generate content that violates the acceptable use policies of underlying LLM providers

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this policy, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of Magister is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create or provide through the Service, including text, images, and data you upload or input.

Content generated by your AI agent is owned by you. You are free to use, modify, publish, and distribute agent-generated content without restriction.

The Magister platform — including its software, design, branding, and documentation — is owned by Magister and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or free from errors. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magister shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service — including damages resulting from actions your agent takes on third-party services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Magister in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your subscription continues until the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if continued use poses a risk to the Service or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of severe or urgent violations.

Upon account deletion, we will destroy any dedicated agent machine associated with your account. Chat history, account data, and integrations will be permanently deleted. This action is irreversible.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
