Lead Nurture Sequence

Write a 5-email nurture sequence guiding leads from awareness to conversion.

A real workflow from the Magister template catalog — the same steps a dedicated agent executes for your brand, shown in full before you run anything.

What you provide

The steps, in full

  1. 1

    Map the buyer journey stages

Define the 4–5 stage buyer journey for segment description moving toward conversion goal. For each stage, identify the primary question or concern in the prospect's mind, the information they need to progress, and the emotional state they are likely in. This journey map will guide the email sequence structure.

  2. 2

    Write the 5-email nurture sequence

Write all 5 emails following the buyer journey map. Email 1: Welcome + set expectations (what they will learn/get). Email 2: Educate on the core problem that product name solves — use data or a relatable story. Email 3: Social proof — a short case study or testimonial from someone like segment description. Email 4: Address the top objection or hesitation that would prevent conversion goal. Email 5: Direct CTA to conversion goal with a time-sensitive or benefit-reinforced close. Each email should be under 200 words.

  3. 3

Write subject lines with A/B variants

For each of the 5 emails write: a primary subject line and an A/B test variant. The A variant should be curiosity- or benefit-driven; the B variant should test personalisation or social proof. Keep all subject lines under 50 characters. Flag which variant to use as the default and why.

  4. 4

Add personalisation tokens and timing notes

Review each email and add first name and company personalisation tokens where they feel natural (not forced). Add a timing note below each email: the recommended delay from the previous email and the best day/time to send based on B2B email benchmarks. Include a note on which emails should be paused if the recipient converts before the sequence ends.

What it won't do without you

Magister workflows draft and prepare autonomously, but anything externally visible — publishing a page, sending an email, changing a campaign — waits for your approval. You can run this template once, or schedule it and review the results as they land.
