Audit a page for conversion friction and rewrite key sections to lift conversion rate.
A real workflow from the Magister template catalog — the same steps a dedicated agent executes for your brand, shown in full before you run anything.
Visit page url and systematically review the page from top to bottom. Document: the above-the-fold content and clarity of the value proposition, the logical flow of information (does the page answer objections in the right order?), the number and placement of CTAs, and the use of visual hierarchy to guide the eye. Note the current conversion rate if current conversion rate is provided.
Evaluate page url against a CRO friction checklist: unclear or weak headline, CTA buried below the fold, lack of social proof near the CTA, long or confusing forms, missing trust badges or security signals, slow load time, inconsistent messaging vs. the traffic source, and mobile layout issues. Rate each friction point as High / Medium / Low severity.
Compare page url against landing page best practices for its page type (e.g. pricing page, lead gen page, product page). Reference the LIFT model: Value Proposition, Relevance, Clarity, Anxiety, Distraction, Urgency. Score the page on each dimension (1–5) and identify the 2–3 dimensions with the biggest gap vs. best-in-class examples.
Rewrite the 3 highest-impact sections identified in your audit. For each section provide: the original copy (quoted), the issue diagnosis (1 sentence), and the improved copy. Typically this will include the hero headline + subheadline, the primary CTA and surrounding copy, and the social proof or trust section. Explain the CRO principle behind each change.
Compile a final recommendations table for page url with columns: Recommendation | CRO Principle | Estimated Impact (High/Med/Low) | Implementation Effort (Easy/Medium/Hard) | Priority Score. List at least 10 recommendations ordered by Priority Score (impact ÷ effort). Flag the top 3 as 'Quick Wins' that can be implemented immediately.
Consolidate the completed work into one complete markdown report and record the durable finding with the native magister_submit_workflow_completion tool. The report file must contain the full report content — never a placeholder.
Magister workflows draft and prepare autonomously, but anything externally visible — publishing a page, sending an email, changing a campaign — waits for your approval. You can run this template once, or schedule it and review the results as they land.
