Optimize your content to appear in AI-generated search answers (AEO/GEO).
A real workflow from the Magister template catalog — the same steps a dedicated agent executes for your brand, shown in full before you run anything.
Visit website url and review the top 10 pages by estimated traffic. For each page, evaluate: does it directly and concisely answer common questions about target topics? Does it use structured formats (definitions, numbered steps, clear headings)? Is authorship and expertise signalled? Rate each page low/medium/high for AI citation readiness.
Use an AI search engine (Perplexity or ChatGPT) to search for the top 5 questions related to target topics. Screenshot or record the answers and note: which sources are cited, what format those sources use (definition, list, FAQ, comparison), and whether website url appears. This reveals exactly what AI engines reward.
Based on your research, list: (a) questions about target topics that AI engines answer but website url has no page targeting, and (b) pages that exist but are formatted poorly for AI extraction (e.g. buried in dense prose, no clear definition, no structured data). Prioritise the top 5 gaps by query volume and citation likelihood.
Rewrite the top 3 highest-priority pages from your gap analysis. For each, add: a concise definition or direct answer in the first 100 words, clear H2/H3 structure that mirrors common query formats, a 'What is X?' or 'How does X work?' section, and author/source credibility signals. Keep the rewrite compatible with existing SEO while improving AI parsability.
For each of the 3 rewritten pages, add a FAQ section at the bottom with 5–7 questions and concise answers (2–4 sentences each). Questions should match the phrasing AI engines use when queried about target topics. Mark up each Q&A for FAQPage schema. These FAQs are high-leverage for AI citations because they are already formatted as direct answers.
Consolidate the completed work into one complete markdown report and record the durable finding with the native magister_submit_workflow_completion tool. The report file must contain the full report content — never a placeholder.
Magister workflows draft and prepare autonomously, but anything externally visible — publishing a page, sending an email, changing a campaign — waits for your approval. You can run this template once, or schedule it and review the results as they land.
