Working with multiple brands
Brands are how Magister keeps contexts clean. Each one has its own profile, assets, connections, analytics, audits, plan, approvals, and usage. Hosted Agent history and workflows are isolated too.
Use a separate brand when:
- You're managing distinct brands (different names, different voices, different audiences)
- You're running work for different clients and need to keep their data apart
- You want to run different products or landing sites with different analytics and CMSs
- You need separate plans, permissions, or usage reporting
Keep it in one brand when:
- It's the same brand, same tools, same audience — even if it's multiple campaigns
- The work should share one brand profile, plan, analytics, assets, and integrations
Switching in the dashboard — use the brand switcher in the app header. Every page and panel updates to the selected brand.
Switching in Connect — one MCP authorization covers all accessible brands in the selected organization. Ask for List projects, then use the intended brand's project_id in subsequent calls. Reauthorize to switch organizations.
Billing impact — both paid plans include one brand. Additional brands add a monthly or annual recurring charge that matches the subscription and add credits to every monthly allowance. See Plans and Adding brands.
