Upgrading from Connect to Agent
Organization owners and admins can upgrade Connect to Agent from Organization Settings → Billing.
Preview first — Magister asks Stripe for the exact amount due today before confirmation. Stripe credits unused Connect time and charges the prorated difference for Agent immediately.
In-place upgrade — the organization, members, brand profiles, Assets, integrations, audits, plans, approvals, and history stay in place. Existing machine-free brands are provisioned as hosted Agent brands so hosted chat and automation can begin.
If payment fails — the upgrade does not partially switch the account. Connect remains active and its existing tools continue to work while you update payment details or retry.
After provisioning — each brand may briefly show a provisioning state. When it is ready, Agent-only features such as workflows, skills, Slack, briefs, email, browser control, and calendar unlock.
There is currently no self-service Agent-to-Connect downgrade. Contact team@magistermarketing.com for a downgrade or unusual billing change.
