Standard brief

Synthesizes findings, chooses today's actions, and emails the configured recipients. Run it now or manage its user-local 8am schedule in Briefs.

A real workflow from the Magister template catalog — the same steps a dedicated agent executes for your brand, shown in full before you run anything.

The steps, in full

  1. 1

    Gather brief context

Call magister_get_brief_context once. Use only its bounded findings, activity, plan tasks, canonical tracker scorecard, connected services, and actual social/ad account labels. If mode is kickoff, preserve the server-derived starter brief data.

  2. 2

    Choose today's focus

Apply the orchestrator priority rubric and synthesize a concise brief. Pick at most three immediate priorities, pair every number with interpretation, surface real blockers, and never invent missing provider data or account names.

  3. 3

    Deliver the brief

Call magister_send_brief exactly once with the active workflow run id as idempotency_key. Include only finding ids returned by the gather action. Success requires delivered=true and status sent or already_sent; otherwise report the delivery failure and do not claim an email was sent.

What it won't do without you

Magister workflows draft and prepare autonomously, but anything externally visible — publishing a page, sending an email, changing a campaign — waits for your approval. You can run this template once, or schedule it and review the results as they land.
