Write a 5-step cold email sequence tailored to your ICP and value proposition.
A real workflow from the Magister template catalog — the same steps a dedicated agent executes for your brand, shown in full before you run anything.
Research the ICP described as icp description — search for forums, community posts, job listings, and review sites (G2, Reddit, LinkedIn) where this persona discusses their frustrations. Identify their top 3 pain points and the language they use to describe them. Map each pain point to how value prop provides relief.
Write a cold email sequence: Email 1 (Day 1) — personalised opener referencing a specific pain from your research, one-sentence value prop, soft CTA ('Worth a quick chat?'). Email 2 (Day 3) — follow-up with a different angle, social proof or stat. Email 3 (Day 7) — share a relevant case study or insight, no ask. Email 4 (Day 12) — direct ask with a low-friction CTA (e.g. 15-min call). Email 5 (Day 18) — breakup email, light humour, leave the door open. Sign each from sender name.
For each of the 5 emails, write one primary subject line and one A/B variant. Subject lines should be under 45 characters, avoid click-bait, and feel like they came from a real person. Also write a preview text snippet (under 80 characters) for each email that complements the subject line without repeating it.
Write a LinkedIn connection request message from sender name (under 300 characters — the platform limit) that references the recipient's context, leads with curiosity or shared relevance, and does not pitch immediately. Also write a short follow-up DM (2–3 sentences) to send once the connection is accepted that mirrors the Email 1 angle.
Magister workflows draft and prepare autonomously, but anything externally visible — publishing a page, sending an email, changing a campaign — waits for your approval. You can run this template once, or schedule it and review the results as they land.
