Webflow
Install from Webflow — start at Connect Webflow, sign in or create a Magister account, and continue to Webflow. Authorize your sites, then select an authorized site and its Magister brand. New users can create their first brand from the selected site's name. Site information comes from Webflow’s APIs. No website entry or marketing audit is required. Google sign-in and email confirmation return to this installation flow. Canceling consent adds no access; return to Connect Webflow to retry.
Accounts and pricing — Webflow and Magister subscriptions are separate. Connecting does not purchase a subscription or change an existing plan. Connect stays machine-free. Agent and Free trial workspaces start independently of an audit. See pricing for plans and usage limits.
Draft and publish — ask Magister to list the selected site's collections, inspect a collection’s fields, and create a CMS draft. Review the draft, then request publication. Every publication or live-content change requires approval of that exact operation, including Auto mode and scheduled work. A whole-site publish may publish other staged changes; review the scope carefully. Generic MCP writes cannot bypass approval using a confirmation flag; use the publish_content tool for CMS publication.
Supported features — read sites, page metadata and content, collection schemas and items; create and edit staged CMS content; update page SEO and Open Graph metadata; publish with approval. Arbitrary Designer layout editing and design-token management are not supported. The OAuth scopes are sites:read/write, pages:read/write and cms:read/write. Forms, ecommerce orders, assets and custom code are outside this integration.
Optional audits and data access — Webflow content is retrieved through official Data API v2 endpoints: sites, sites/{id}/pages, pages/{id}/dom, sites/{id}/collections, collections/{id}, and collections/{id}/items. Audits use a bounded sample of up to 20 static pages and 10 collections with up to 100 items each, not a complete site export. Rendered HTML, robots, sitemap, performance and design-token checks are unavailable through this audit source. No public-page crawler, scraping service or manual token replaces OAuth if access fails or is disconnected.
Disconnect — use Disconnect on the Webflow card. Magister immediately disables new access through the authorization, including its copies in other Magister brands, removes locally usable credentials, and asks Webflow to revoke the grant. If Webflow is unavailable, an encrypted cleanup record is retained solely to retry revocation; it cannot serve API requests. Reconnection to that grant waits for cleanup. Already dispatched requests may finish. Other providers are unaffected. Manual Webflow tokens are not supported and cannot be used as a fallback. Uninstalling in Webflow is detected on a provider 401 or periodic authorization check.
Troubleshooting — retry expired or canceled installation from Connect Webflow. Reauthorize when the chosen site is missing or access changes. API failures never fall back to a crawler. Contact team@magistermarketing.com for help.
