Managing your subscription

Magister's subscription is managed through Stripe's customer portal. Almost everything billing-related — updating cards, downloading invoices, cancelling — happens there.

Opening the portal — go to Settings → Team Settings → Billing. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Manage Subscription. This opens the Stripe portal in a new tab, pre-authenticated for your team.

What you can do in the portal

- Update your payment method (card, country, billing address)

- Download past invoices as PDFs

- See upcoming charges

- Cancel your subscription

Cancelling — use the Cancel subscription option in the portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately. Up until then your projects keep running as normal.

What happens after cancellation — once the period ends, your team's plan becomes inactive. Project machines are stopped and projects become read-only: you can still see historical chats and files, but the agent stops running. Reactivating the subscription re-enables everything.

Who can do this — only team owners and team admins have the Manage Subscription button. Members cannot reach the billing portal.

Refunds and special cases — email team@magistermarketing.com. Anything that isn't a self-serve action in the portal goes through the team.
